The Environmental Microbiology and Biochemistry Research Station (EMBRS) is a minority-owned vietnam era veteran-operated limited liability company providing high quality technical services and professional consulting to clients from both the public and private sectors.

EMBRS President/CEO, SFC Ruben Ceballos (retired, US Army/USMC civil service) has over 30 years of government service as a facilities and contract specialist.  Together, with an interdisciplinary team of scientists and technicians, EMBRS is positioned to provide quality technical and consulting services in accordance with GSA schedules 66 (Scientific Services), 899 (Environmental Services), and 738 II (Language Services).  With research and training collaborations in over eight (8) different countries, EMBRS also offers technical translation services including contracts translation in Spanish, Russian, Hindi, Malay, Chinese (Mandarin), Norwegian, and more.  With a staff that includes doctorally-prepared scientists and educators, EMBRS offers a host of scientific training programs for students both domestically and internationally in biological, chemical, and environmental sciences. From OSHA and NEPA training for private companies and government personnel to international research internships for students and individual or family science camps for affiliates of homeschool cooperatives, EMBRS provides a wide range of scientific training programs from novice to advanced levels.

With three locations to serve you – one on the west coast (southern California), our biological station in the mid-west (northern Minnesota) and a new biostation under development on the east coast (Florida) – the scientific and technical staff at EMBRS is prepared to address your environmental, scientific, research, translation, grant-writing, contracts, and training needs.
